Alaska Hound Group Assn. We are a group of people dedicated to all things hound. Our members are involved in activities that range from AKC conformation, Obedience, Agility, Rally, to Lure Coursing and Earthdog. This only goes to show how versatile the hound breeds are.

Alaska Winds Coursing Club Lure Coursing:
Is a humane sport which attempts to imitate the coursing of the rabbit or hare by sighthounds but without the hare. The sighthounds chase an artificial lure, usually a white kitchen garbage bag, sometimes tanned rabbit skins, or fake fur strips.

Alyeska Canine Trainers Alyeska Canine Trainers is an all volunteer, non-profit organization started in 1986, by a group of dedicated dog enthusiasts. We use positive training methods to teach you to train your canine companion to be a good family pet as well as a competitor in the sport of Obedience or Agility. We have the largest indoor training facility in Alaska with award-winning instructors. Our brand new larger facility has state-of-the-art, low impact flooring, designed to make jumping safer for your dog.
Stop by to watch a class. Classes start every four weeks. The cost is $95 for an eight week class. Continuing students receive a discounted rate of $90 per class.

Kenai Kennel Club The Kenai Kennel Club was formed in April 1970 by a group of people who had a great deal of love for dogs. Our primary objective is for the education of the public for the betterment of purebred dogs. Meetings are at the club at 7:00 pm the first Wednesday of each month.

Our goal is to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs, to conduct dog shows, agility trials, obedience trials, tracking tests, and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club. We also strive to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs and to demonstrate sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, agility trials, obedience trials, and tracking trials. Through these efforts we hope to provide educational opportunities to the public on all aspects of dog ownership.
