Skid

Medium Senior Male Cat

Skid was a feral cat who, after a long time a the Adoption Center, has begun to warm up to people he knows. Now, he'll sometimes jump down from a high perch and rub up against your leg. He's still shy, but the improvements he's made are remarkable.

Because he was a feral, he was never instructed on proper litter box technique -- he goes wherever he feels the need. He will use a litter box, but only about 75% of the time. We've ruled out medical and cleanliness problems, so we're left with the combination of his feral past and potential territory issues with the other cats at the Center.

He adores his daily fresh water and he often drags the bowl to whichever location he prefers it be that moment.

Latte came to us last fall when the people who cared for him as a stray became concerned about him spending the winter outside (they couldn't have cats).
